This is the website of author and musician Hank Shteamer.

Hank writes for various print and online outlets, including Time Out New York—where he serves as Senior Associate Music Editor—and his personal blog, Dark Forces Swing Blind Punches. He recently published a book about the band Ween for the 33 1/3 imprint, and launched an interview series dealing with the connections between jazz and metal.

Hank plays drums in the band STATS. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, La'al Shams.
